Comprehensive disaster response training across Wing A and Wing B disciplines
NDRF and SDRF Courses
Specialized tactical training in search, rescue, and emergency medical response.
- All newly inducted Gazetted Officers who have not undergone basic DM course.
- Should be mentally and physically fit.
- To Train newly inducted Gazetted Officers in all aspects of Basic Disaster Management to prepare them as good first responders in disaster situation.
- All GOs and Inspectors/ Team Leaders of NDRF
- Other SOs and ORs who've qualified their BFRC and possessing the requisite knowledge, having good aptitude to receive advance knowledge and skills in Urban Search and Rescue, INSARAG & Incident Response System, and recommended by the BoO evaluating their BFRC.
- To provide advance knowledge and skills in Medical First Responder, Urban Search and Rescue, INSARAG & Incident Response System to officers and Inspectors/ Team Leaders.
- This course is treated as advance MFR & CSSR course.
- All Officers and Inspectors/ Team Leaders of NDRF.
- Other SOs and ORs who've qualified their BFRC and possessing the requisite knowledge, having good aptitude to receive advance knowledge and skills in CBRN and recommended by the Boo evaluating their BFRC.
- To provide advance knowledge and skills in CBRN, to officers and Inspectors/ Team Leaders.
- This is an advance course for CBRN.
- Participants who have successfully undergone either of USAR or HazMat course and have instructional skills to conduct training at unit level.
- Develop the requisite ‘direct trainer’s skills’ including an understanding of Psycho-social, Legal principles of adult learning.
- Use individual as well as group-centred training methods and other training techniques such as role playing, simulation, etc.
- Prepare lesson plans and use training aids, such as case studies, team activities, and power-point presentations.
- Perform as an effective trainer in training programmes on MFR, CSSR & CBRN
- NDRF/SDRF personnel, who have already undergone the Training of Trainers' Course and having been assessed as outstanding (got at least 80% marks) performance in the course
- Have a good conceptual understanding of the modern concepts of training, including Psycho-social, Legal aspects of training and principles of adult learning.
- Develop mastery in various individualized and group centered methods of training as well as in the use of various training aids.
- Fully understand the principles and methodologies of management of training and evaluation etc.
- Independently design and implement need-based training Programmes for the participants of courses dealing with various kinds of disasters and their management.
- All personnel having instructional aptitude.
- Should be mentally & physically fit.
- To train NDRF personnel in all aspects related to the training on Community Action for Disaster Response so as to impart training to the community, so that they are aware of the techniques and Do’s and Don’ts various in disaster situations.
- To train the personnel in Bore well rescue techniques and best practices.

- The course is for CD Trainers, Platoon Commanders from Home Guards, Para-military organizations (Havaldar's & above) Firemen of the State/Municipal Fire Services, Industrial fire safety personnel and personnel of the Armed Forces.
- a) Age - Below 35 years
- b) Upto 45 years for those who are sportsmen and involved in rope rescue training.
- c) Education - Preferably intermediate or above
- d) Must be medically fit
- This program is suitable for Civil Defence & Home Guard Officers, Industrial Security personnel, CAPF personnel, Disaster Managers and Volunteer Officers from NGOs.
- a) Age - Below 45 years
- b) Preferably should be 12th Pass with Science Subjects

- Civil Defence Officers, personnel & volunteers, Home Guard Trainers of different States, Staff officers of Railways, Airports, organisations of Centre / State Govt. Public sector undertakings.

- b) Education - Participants should have preferably passed 12th standard with science subjects and have working knowledge of English
- c) Must be medically fit
- Civil Defence Trainers (ADC & Dy. Controllers) Home Guard Coy Commanders, Paramilitary officers (JCOs & above), Railway CD officers & personnel, Central / State Government organization.

- Dy. Controllers of Civil Defence, District Commandants of Home Guards, SDO / Revenue Executives of the State, Executive Officers from Municipal Corporations / Cantonments, Dy. Commandants of Paramilitary forces, Col. / Lt. Col. ranked officers of the Armed forces. Controlling Executives of NGO's and Railway Safety officers.

- The course is designed for Civil Defence Instructors (paid/part time). Platoon Commanders & above from Home Guards. Havaldar's and above from CAPF's, Havaldar's / JCO's from NCC, Members of voluntary NGO's and Teachers from School / Colleges.

- b. Education - Preferably intermediate or above
- c. Must be medically fit
- Personnel from Civil Defence, Fire Services Home Guards, Indian Railway police, Central Paramilitary Forces, Health Safety workers from industries in public & private sector teacher and volunteers from NGO’s.

- b) Education - Preferably should be 12th pass.
- c) Must be medically fit
- Civil Defence wardens, CD volunteers, staff officers from Railways & NGOs.

- To comprehend command and control requirements in relation to CBRN incidents.
- To comprehend the capabilities and limitations of crisis/consequence management structures and key services.

Tकोर्स को प्रशिक्षकों द्वारा बहुत अच्छे से चलाया गया। सभी विषयों के बारे में बताया गया तथा सभी डेमोंस्ट्रेशन बहुत अच्छे से समझाए गए। साथ ही सभी को आगे खड़े होकर क्लास लेने के बारे में जानकारी मिली।
कोर्स को अच्छे तरीके से चलाया गया। प्रशिक्षकों द्वारा विषयों को ठीक से समझाया गया। कोर्स बहुत अच्छा एवं रोचक लगा। सभी विषयों को स्पष्ट तरीके से समझाया गया। सभी प्रशिक्षकों का ज्ञान बहुत अच्छा था तथा उदाहरण देकर अच्छे से पढ़ाया गया।

सभी प्रशिक्षक उत्कृष्ट थे। सभी ने बहुत अच्छी तरह से कक्षा का संचालन किया। प्रशिक्षण अत्यंत उत्कृष्ट रहा। पहले दिन ओबीएम (OBM) के बारे में विस्तार से समझाया गया, जो बहुत अच्छा लगा। साथ ही, ओबीएम के विभिन्न भागों को याद करवाने का तरीका भी बहुत प्रभावी और सराहनीय था। प्रशिक्षण उत्कृष्ट रहा।

I am from non science background but course was conducted in very simple manner and I learned about the radiological emergency and the safety measures very well. The teaching method and practical were very good.
